The Sedgwick County Clerk & Recorder’s Office is managed by County Clerk, Patrice L. Carter. Carter was elected to office in 2002. Her staff consists of three energetic and well-trained Deputy Clerks; Chris Beckman, Chief Deputy; Jane Kipp, Deputy Clerk; and Brian Lanckriet, Deputy Clerk.

Office employees are cross-trained in all areas of office function.

*Motor vehicle titles and registrations
*Recording of all documents/for information click on services/departments and then click on recording
*Voter registration
*Conducting of Elections
*Driver’s License, including a motorcycle drive course for testing
*Clerk to the Board of Sedgwick County Commissioners
*Liquor Licenses (county)
*Marriage Licenses
*Subdivision Exemptions
*Accounts payable for all Sedgwick County Departments
*Payroll for all Sedgwick County Departments
*Health Insurance for all county employees
*Workman’s Comp claims for county employees
*Liability insurance claims for all county entities
*Retirement fund
*Maintenance of Web site |
