The Sedgwick County Communication Center is currently accepting applications for the position of Part Time Dispatcher (Emergency 911 Dispatcher). As a Dispatcher, the employee is responsible for the operation of the emergency communications console including the receipt of calls and proper dispatch of appropriate equipment and personnel to provide assistance to the citizens of Sedgwick County in the areas of Law Enforcement, Fire and Emergency Medical Services.
The Sedgwick County Communications Center was established in 2014. It is the 911 and administrative lines for the Sheriff's Office. The Center fields all emergency and non-emergency calls for the Sheriff's Department, All Sedgwick County Fire Departments and the Sedgwick County Ambulance Service.
